“Thanks to the maniacs at Rabidog, we have a sick little film to accompany our audio assault on your eyes, ears and twisted mind itself.
This is exactly the kind of movie we would have rented back in the day, watched over and over and returned with certain spots stretched out from excessive rewinding and rewatching. We probably would have written a song about it as well, but now we don’t have to!” – Chris Reifert
“Rabid Funeral” will premiere on Saturday 28 October – 11:00pm BST / 00:00am CEST (Saturday night into Sunday!) / 6:00pm EST / 3:00pm PST here:
Collaborating with Rabidog Films, Murray Media, Haunt Manor and the Butcher Shop FX studio, the band very much bring the dead to life and pay homage to the likes of House of a 1000 Corpses, Wrong Turn and the ghoulish cannibal inspired classic that is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Autopsy deliver their own flavour of Grindhouse terror.
“…a brutal comic book come to life and played at ear-numbing volume. With the album wrapped up in typically brilliant Benscoter art (best enjoyed on vinyl – obviously), this is another essential album from the lords of old school death. It’s cool – buy it. 9.5/10 – SonicAbuse
‘Ashes, Organs, Blood and Crypts’ is out now on Peaceville on Limited edition Red LP (Blood) / Yellow LP (Organs – available exclusively from the Peaceville Stores) and Orange LP (Crypts), LP (Ashes), CD and Digital. Place your order here https://autopsy.lnk.to/AOBC
About Autopsy
One of the longest running death metal acts active today, and an inspiration for whole generations of depraved metal maniacs the world over, Autopsy formed in 1987 and released four albums on Peaceville Records – beginning with the classic debut ‘Severed Survival’ in 1989 – before disbanding in 1995, with members going on to form the equally disturbed Abscess. Autopsy officially returned after a fifteen year hiatus with the 2010 EP, ‘The Tomb Within’, followed closely by their fifth studio album, ‘Macabre Eternal’ in 2011, which set them on a new bloodthirsty trail, with the reinvigorated intent of creating more of the sickest and most twisted & uncompromising music ever to grace a turntable. The band has remained prolific ever since.
