
Big Feastival is delighted to reveal more details for its 2025 programme, featuring the world premiere of Alex James’ Britpop Classical, alongside the Cheese Hub, Big Kitchen, Woodland Spa, BBQ Cook School, Dining Experiences and Big Top family line-up. Big Feastival returns to the Cotswolds from 22 to 24 August for its 14th with over 100 music performances, 50 street food outlets and over 200 dishes on offer, it’s going to be a weekend to remember This annual spectacular celebrates the British summertime in style, offering a perfect blend of live music, acclaimed chefs, vibrant street food and endless activities for the whole family. Blending the biggest anthems of the Britpop era with the cinematic power of a full orchestra, this show stopping finale will reimagine ’90s classics like never before. The performance will also feature a host of very special guests. Actor and cultural icon Phil Daniels, best known as the voice behind Blur’s Parklife, will join Alex on stage, alongside Reef frontman Gary Stringer and the inimitable Sophie Ellis-Bextor, returning to the farm for another unmissable performance. Joining them are Fran Healy & Dougie Payne from legendary Scottish 90s band Travis. Today, the festival is excited to reveal five of the tracks getting the orchestral treatment – a cross generational greatest hit selection that includes T. Rex’s Get It On, Supergrass’ Alright, Reef’s Place Your Hands, Blur’s Girls and Boys and The Verve’s Bittersweet Symphony.
Together with Alex James, this all-star cast will breathe new life into the tracks that soundtracked a generation, from euphoric singalongs to spine tingling symphonic swells. With full live band and orchestral arrangements, Alex James’ Britpop Classical promises to be the perfect end to another unforgettable Big Feastival.
Across the weekend, the Main Stage will be hosted by familiar faces, including broadcasting legend Edith Bowman, Capital FM’s Kemi Rodgers and Chris Stark – bringing extra energy to each day. The party continues in the Cheese Hub and on the brand new The Outpost stage with a line-up of unmissable DJ sets, featuring Radio 1’s Charlie Hedges, Artful Dodger, Syrup Takeover: Seb Fontaine B2B Tall Paul and Fish56Octagon. Big Feastival is also thrilled to announce Cheese Hub DJ sets from the legendary Simon Pegg and comedy icon James Buckley as well as Chris Stark and Edith Bowman.
Away from the main stage, the fun continues across the vast festival grounds with something for everyone. Big Feastival is excited to announce this year’s line-up for the Big Kitchen, Big Top, Fire Pit with Passenger, and Dining Experiences – plus new additions including the BBQ Cook School, Little Cooks with Prept, and the Woodland Spa.
The Big Kitchen will welcome some of the UK’s best-loved chefs for live demos and delicious inspiration throughout the weekend. The daily line-ups are now confirmed, with Raymond Blanc taking to the stage on Friday, Simon Rimmer on Saturday and Si King closing the kitchen on Sunday.
Dining experiences promise something special for every foodie. Festival-goers can kick off the weekend with the woodland Thursday Night Feasts, showcasing the best local produce including Alex James’ Blue Monday cheese and Cotswold-reared beef. Each day, Lazy Lunches by Ben Quinn and the Woodfired Canteen team will serve a four-course menu packed with local and Cornish ingredients, all cooked over fire. As evening falls, settle in for the Fire Pit Feasts, a new fireside dining experience featuring four flavour-filled courses from Ben Quinn and a different guest chef each night.
Meanwhile the all-new BBQ Cook School will offer festival-goers the chance to learn the art of cooking with fire in daily hands-on demos, with pre-bookable sessions coming soon. Kids can also get hands on, creating colourful dishes, picking produce from the Kitchen Garden and building kitchen confidence with Little Cooks in partnership with Prept Foundation.
The Big Top returns as the beating heart of Big Feastival’s family fun – a vibrant hub packed with entertainment and activities for younger festivalgoers. Highlights for 2025 include School of Beatbox, Mad Science Live, Little Yogi Festival Flow and Ninja Masters, promising music, movement and interactive learning. New for 2025, kids will also get to enjoy the world’s biggest bouncy castle, which will be on site for the first time.
Across the weekend, families can enjoy live shows from favourites like MC Grammar, Evie Pickerill, The Marvellous Myth Hunters and Bubblemania. Big Feastival will also welcome back children’s TV legend Justin Fletcher, Strictly star Oti Mabuse, and introduce the daring thrills of Chris Bullzini’s High Wire – a jaw-dropping spectacle high above the festival fields. This year also sees the biggest comedy line-up in the festival’s history including Lucy Beamont, Lou Sanders & Bridget Christie to name a few
Woodland Spa will offer festivalgoers the chance to relax and recharge. This tranquil retreat provides a welcome escape from the crowds, complete with wood-fired hot tubs, a soothing sauna and an invigorating cold plunge – the ultimate remedy after a day of music, food and family fun.
Add-on VIP tickets are also now available for purchase. These tickets offer a premium experience at the heart of the action, with access to the exclusive VIP Lounge with thanks to La Gioisa in the Main Arena. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of La Gioiosa Prosecco, or a refreshing option from Tiny Rebel or Fever-Tree. Enjoy a private bar serving premium drinks, from summer cocktails to Champagne, plus gourmet food available to purchase from luxury Argentinian steakhouse Gaucho. The VIP area also includes covered seating, a dedicated garden viewing space with excellent stage views, premium toilet facilities and free phone charging all weekend.
