The awesome Sons of Silver are back. The supergroup, interviewed by SonicAbuse during their “Doomsday Noises” campaign here, are hard at work promoting new music. Over the next few months, the Los Angeles-based band will be sharing live footage shot at the 1st Annual Sagebrush Cantina Music, Food, and Fun! Festival with the Wallflowers and Robby Krieger of The Doors. California Rock News says, “Their set was a powerhouse of crafted well-thought-out, emotionally gripping songs from their two EPs Ordinary Sex Appeal and Doomsday Noises.”
Today the band releases their live performance of the track “Rude Awakenings” from their exceptional “Doomsday Noises” EP (given a glowing review here) On the song they deliver a blast of tight and socially critical rock music with powder keg guitars and a pressure cooker vocal performance. It’s a bold song captured in real-time highlighting lead singer Peter Argyropoulos’ soulful vocals with a backdrop of provocative lyrics. See it here: https://youtu.be/n8oncPA2vxw
Their songs have collectively garnered over six million views and streams and the numbers continue to grow. The band is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on new music. Hear more from them at https://open.spotify.com/artist/3krcOKxWDgI3CmiPMiOvQO
