Hello, this is Chuck Daniels (guitarist) answering the questions.

Band name: The Chuck Norris Experiment.
Number of members: Every member has a ‘Chuck’ name. We usually roll live as a five-piece but we are 6(66) Chucks.
Hometown: Kungsbacka and Gothenburg, Sweden.
Year formed: 2004.
Genre(s): ‘Action Hard Rock’—a high-energy blend of classic rock, heavy metal, and punk.
Latest release: Our latest compilation album is ‘Hot Stuff 3′ (2026), and our 20th-anniversary studio album is titled ’20’.
Influences: A mix of classic rock, heavy metal, and punk.
How did the band come together?: We’ve been playing our own brand of rock since 2004. It all started when a bunch of us with similar interests in action rock and punk began jamming and drinking beer out of pure boredom between other band projects.
What is your proudest moment to date?: It’s a mix between those massive festival sets in Germany where the whole crowd screams the lyrics back at us , and the honor of sharing vinyl releases with our heroes like The Hellacopters . Also, just reaching the 20-year mark and feeling that our latest work is our absolute best.
What are the biggest challenges of being in an independent band?: Dealing with ‘fake’ promoters and labels, and trying to cut through the noise in an overcrowded digital market. It’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock ‘n’ roll.
What are your views on the impact of streaming on bands?: It’s a double-edged sword. While platforms like Spotify give us global reach , the payment model is broken—it mostly benefits major stars like Taylor Swift while ignoring independent artists . We need a fairer model that values hard work and creativity over algorithms and tech-bro profits. That’s why we still cherish every physical vinyl record we sell.

What’s next for the band?: 2026 is the “Year of Chuck”! We are hitting the road to tour Finland, Spain, the UK, Germany, and Sweden. Behind the scenes, we’re also deep into writing and recording material for our next album, which we’ll release as soon as it’s “perfect”
Six of the Best
Here are six bands that have shaped my world or are currently raising hell in my speakers.
Entombed – Death metal – Sweden
Release that I love: Left Hand Path and Wolverine Blues
Reason(s) why they’re awesome: These guys are my absolute childhood heroes. Hearing them for the first time was a life-changing moment for me—it was raw, ugly, and beautiful all at once. They proved that you could evolve from brutal death metal into something with a garage rock soul without ever losing your edge.
AC/DC – Hard Rock / Rock ‘n’ Roll – Australia
Release that I love: High Voltage and Powerage
Reason(s) why they’re awesome: They are the ultimate definition of timeless class. I grew up on their riffs, and they taught me everything about the power of a simple, killer groove. They never overcomplicate things; they just deliver pure, high-voltage rock ‘n’ roll that works on any stage, in any decade. It’s the gold standard we all strive for.
The Riptide Rats – Instrumental Surf / Rock ‘n’ Roll – Sweden
Release that I love: Waves of Steel.
Reason(s) why they’re awesome: I might have a finger in the pie here, but I genuinely love the vibe of this project. It’s an instrumental mix of 60s surf rock and Spaghetti Western tension. If you want to hear something that sounds like a Quentin Tarantino movie set on a Swedish beach, check out “Backwater Showdown”. It’s all about that “twang” and old-school rock ‘n’ roll punch.
John R Miller – Country / Americana – USA
Release that I love: Depreciated.
Reason(s) why he is awesome: Because he is the real deal. In a world of overproduced music, Miller is “äkta” (authentic). His songwriting is soulful, earnest, and rich in detail, delivered with a rough-hewn baritone that just hits you in the gut. It’s the kind of music that feels like a familiar story you want to hear over and over again.
Gluecifer – Scandinavian Rock / Punk – Norway
Release that I love: Automatic Thrill
Reason(s) why they’re awesome: They hold eternal class in our common genre. Gluecifer is one of the kings of the Scandinavian rock scene—pure energy, snotty attitude, and masterclass guitar solos. They’ve recently made a comeback after over 20 years, and they sound like they never left. If you like your rock ‘n’ roll raw and high-octane, these are the guys.
Avi Kaplan – Folk / Americana – USA
Release that I love: Peace Somehow (Single)
Reason(s) why he is awesome: One word: the register! His vocal range is absolutely mind-blowing. Hearing him go from deep, resonant bass notes to beautiful, harmonies is a masterclass in vocal control. It’s catchy, and has a certain ancient, cosmic thing to it that I find really inspiring.
