Decommissioned Forests, the loosely-knit ambient collective featuring members of The Resonance, Lopulinen Kela and more, have unveiled a new animated video clip as well as a digital, two-track single. Awash with ethereal ambient noise reminiscent of early Pink Floyd (think saucerful of secrets) going head-to-head with Aphex twin and Bass Communion, ‘I am a ghost ship’ is the latest in what promises to be a fascinating and involving project.
Decommissioned Forest, in this instance, featured Daniel Vincent: synthesizers, organ, piano, vocals & Howard Gardner: electronics, loops.
