Spider Feet was one of the highlights of Final Coil’s impressive debut, Persistence Of Memory. A lengthy piece, with a strong progressive influence, it showcases a powerful dynamic before building to an epic finale.
Speaking about the track, front man Phil Stiles said:
“when we were discussing which songs to do, Spider Feet was always at the top of the list. With no disrespect intended towards the original version, which I love, it always felt like the mid section could be a bit more involved and dynamic. When Barry joined, it was one of the first things we discussed, and when we heard how he played on the track in rehearsal, it became a song we just had to do again in the studio sessions. It was great fun to revisit the track, and I think it came across particularly well.”
