We are very proud to be sharing the premiere of Verganglichkeit, the debut album from German-Greek combine Schatten Muse. A two-piece, Schatten Muse comprises Shelmerdine (Dark Awake), under the guise of Schatten, and Sylvia Furst (es-Egotragik) as Muse.
Released via the well-regarded underground label, Circle Music, Verganglichkeit features elements of dark wave, gothic, neoclassical and electro wave music, spread across seven original compositions and two cover versions (Sopor Aeturnus and Goethes Erben).
A bold album that seeks to restore life to the New German Death Art Movement (Neue Deutsche Todeskunst), Verganglichkeit is a challenging and original record from an act that sounds impressively confident on their debut outing.
