Desertscene Add Brant Bjork, Groundhogs, Yawning Man & More To Black Deer

Desertscene are thrilled to announce the final bands for the ‘Roadhouse’ stage at Black Deer Festival taking place this June in Eridge Park, Kent.
Already joining a stellar line-up featuring the likes of LEFT LANE CRUISER and RADIO MOSCOW, the true King of the Desert, BRANT BJORK will roll into the deer park ready to dish out his legendary back-catalogue of stoner rock jams to eager ears. BRANT BJORK is a man that needs no introduction to those already well versed in the Desertscene universe; but to headline a stage at an Americana & Country festival, well that isn’t an accolade that usually sits within Brant’s remit – but with a career, and sound, that so quintessentially sums up the very core of the Palm Desert, there are few who can take to the stage and hold a flame as high.

The California desert keeps on giving with the addition of mind-bending experimental heroes YAWNING MAN, whose influence on the likes of Queens Of The Stoneage, and just about every band since, repeatedly knows no bounds.
While not travelling from as far, but remaining as unconventional, THE GROUNDHOGS are tried and tested road dogs since the 1960’s, who are still delivering jaw-dropping live performances all these years later. Plus back at the deer park for their second consecutive year are London party starters STEAK, whose riff slinging is not only unbeatable musically, but will provide an unbeatable hangover as soon as the first note drops. STEAK = madness, always.
Rounding off the Roadhouse line-up are Australian heavy-blues good timers CHILD, a trip from psychedelic power trio KING BUFFALO, the travelling boogie sounds of SONIC GYSPY and local rockers REDWOOD.

Desertscene are extremely excited to have the opportunity to showcase some of the finest talent from our world to the audience of Black Deer Festival, a perfect partnership that sees us take the road less travelled into the realms of heavy. We’re ready for the whiskey, riffs and all round good times to flow. See you in the deer park…
